Oskar Schindler

Oskar Schindler was a man who fought for the lives of the Jewish people, during the reign of Nazi germany. Schindler originally planned on exploting Jews as workers, but once he witnessed the actual murder and torture of the Jews, he changed his ways. He made a fortune, but spent every last dime he had trying to save the lives of his jews. When all was said and done, He had saved over 1100 people from death at the hands of the Nazis. In Poland today there are less than 4,000 jews. There are more than 6,000 descendants of the Schindler Jews. He was a great man, in such a terrible time.
